Open Studio with Artist-in-Residence Lisa Hunt

As part of our artist-in-residence series in partnership with Uprise Art, we welcome Maplewood NJ-based visual artist, Lisa Hunt, to MacArthur Place in April. Lisa’s screen-printed works explore the meditative relationships of patterns, drawing inspiration from textiles, often working with a gold leaf motif.

Drawing inspiration from our property grounds and wine country surrounds, Lisa will create a site-specific piece for MacArthur’s permanent collection. We invite you to drop in for an open studio visit 11am-12pm on Tuesday April 19 and Wednesday April 20 to meet Lisa and see the artist in her element.

Open studio will be held in Coach House Salon 1. No reservations are required; drop-ins are encouraged. Email lparlato@macarthurplace.com with any questions.
